From TRC/Reconciliation to Celebrities & More with Terry Lusty

Join the Faculty of Extension’s Indigenous Programs for our upcoming lunch & learn lecture with Metis historian, poet, author, community activity, former high school teacher and 8-year residential school survivor, Terry Lusty. Over the past 40 years, Terry has freelanced as a writer and photographer with his work appearing in newspapers, magazines and books. From TRC ceremonies and stories to celebrities including Tom Petty, Garth Brooks, and Johnny Cash, Terry has captured unique, meaningful moments throughout his career. Following the talk, explore Terry’s photographs up close in the Faculty of Extension’s Gallery, while enjoying tea and bannock.

Indigenous Artisans’ Holiday Market

The Faculty of Extension’s Indigenous Programs warmly invite you to celebrate the holiday season at Enterprise Square! This market will feature handmade items by Indigenous artisans & artists. There is no cost to register as a vendor. Vendor applications will be accepted until Oct. 27, 2017 online. Limited tables are available.
