Outreach: Lunch & Learn Series

Education is a powerful tool for building awareness and empowering communities to create lasting change. Throughout the year, the Life Skills Journey team organizes and participates in events, learning opportunities, and conferences that promote the development of healthy and resilient communities.

Spirituality vs. Culture
Thursday, February 22, 2017  |  12 – 1 pm  at Room 2-520 A (2nd floor), Enterprise Square (10230 Jasper Ave)

Bring your lunch and join us for a lunch & learn with Sharon Pasula. Can someone be Indigenous and a Christian? Can someone be a Christian and walk the ‘Red Road’? The intersection of spirituality/faith and culture is a topic many people are passionate about to the point of violence. Being a mixed blood when your genetics call you can also complicate the issue. One of the biggest challenges for human beings is to agree to disagree.
