Rebecca Shortt is the Research Coordinator for the Métis Settlement Life Skills Journey Program. She previously worked as a Facilitator for the program at Buffalo Lake Métis Settlement in 2014 and 2015. She has a background in Community Engagement and Anthropology. Her thesis focused on building lasting and ethical relationships in research, cultural resurgence, and the journey of becoming a settler-ally. Currently she has an interest in community engagement strategies, knowledge translation, and qualitative methods.
